Error sending e-mail: Invalid address

Facing the same issue in version 1.2 when Webform email handler "From" had the same email as SMTP module (smtp_from).
If "From" in the Webform handler was changed to some other email address, email was sent - same as #7 🐛 Error sending e-mail: Invalid address RTBC described.

Applying the patch from MR 24 fixed the issue.

Confirmed this fixed our integration with MIMEMail - wasn't happening with SMTP formatter, which had us scratching our heads, and appreciate this thread and discussion - patch worked as expected, thank you!

+1, I am guessing that email has been broken since whenever this module was updated, and we only just noticed it this week (feature does not get used often).

Tested #16 and it works fine straight away fixing broken e-mail (Invalid address: (Sender):).

Tested #16 after apply patch errors not appear but still email is not send

Strange SMTP was working OK, but when I added MimeMail got this problem

Looks like this is finally addressed in v1.3

It's not in v1.3, patch #16 is still needed to fix this bug.
