RoleAssign 1.0 Stable Release Plan

After nearly 3 years of this ticket being open, what needs to happen is this:

1. Create a ticket in the roleassign issue queue stating "Offering to maintain roleassign"
2. Contact all maintainers listed here: https://www.drupal.org/user/82964/contact → https://www.drupal.org/user/35369/contact → https://www.drupal.org/user/35369/contact → with a note offering to maintain the roleassign module explaining why (php 8.1 compatibility, Drupal 10 compatibility, stable release tag, RTBC issues need processing, project needs another maintainer for all these reasons)
3. Follow up in two weeks, if you still do not get maintainer access then open an issue in the drupal.org project ownership queue, when in doubt (disclaimer) do not refer to my steps, refer to the steps listed here: https://www.drupal.org/docs/develop/managing-a-drupalorg-theme-module-or... →

I do not want to "hijack" this issue, but @joseph.olstad, as you was granted maintainership of this module, I wonder if you can take a look also at D7 PHP8 compatible release of RoleAssing (see 🐛 Deprecated function: Optional parameter $path declared before required parameter $arg Fixed ). Thanks all for your work!
