It has always bothered me that the "Show" option in the Views UI doesn't refer to "view modes" when a view mode is selected (instead of "Fields"). This patch, created as part of a exercise of a long-form training class that I teach, aims to rectify this.
I worked in tandem with stephenebersole → (one of my students) on this issue.
Add the phrase "view mode" where appropriate.
