Autocomplete intermittent on Chrome Android

Looks like good catch of the function with javascript.

#82 and #83 looks like a patch to be reviewed for the current issue.

Patch #92 works well in 10.4.6. Autocomplete would not work consistently with various versions of Android Google Chrome and sometimes Samsung's browser. But this patch resolves the issues I was seeing.
