Make "expose form in block" UI easier to understand

Updated 9 February 2023, almost 2 years ago

Problem/Motivation

The text around making an exposed form available as a block (rather than as part of the view display) is wordy and confusing. See "before" screenshot, below.

Proposed resolution

Reduce the explanatory text and replace the radio buttons with a checkbox.

Remaining tasks

In #31, @Bojhan said

Although I dont think it matters much, because people don't see the word "filter" so wont know what all this exposed block stuff relates to

  • Decide if we need additional wording to explain exactly what is contained in an "exposed form."

It's likely this issue predates Contrib.social: some issue and comment data are missing.

Decide if we need additional wording to explain exactly what is contained in an "exposed form."

    Has that been decided?
