Release a 2.x as pre-release or alpha version for D11

Hi. I would also appreciate it if version 2.x was released. I'm stuck in the middle of a D11 upgrade because drupal/color version 1.0.3 is not Drupal 11 compatible.

I would also find a supported release useful, because this module's requirements are conflicting with the requirements for Image Effects v4.0. It is preventing me from updating and resolving issues I am having. Soon it will also cause us problems when we want to update to Drupal 11.

Could you also please tag a 2.0 RC release or something? I am held back on image_effects 4.x upgrade to support Imagemagick 4 because it requires 2.x. and I don't want to install a dev version (would prefer a tag with d11 compatibility).
