+1 While I am unable to add Maintainers, I do have the ability to make commits. If you go through the issue queue, and mark some as RBTC, I'm happy to push changes forwards.

Can we move this to the other queue now as it's been >2 weeks. Really need the D11 version for next week to prep for Starshot Barcelona demo.

I sent the following message to johnalbin.
Hello John,
I am contacting you because Adam ( https://www.drupal.org/u/acbramley โ ) offered to become co-maintainer for Components ( https://www.drupal.org/project/components โ ), a project you created for which you are project owner and maintainer.
May you post a comment on https://www.drupal.org/project/projectownership/issues/3468238 โ about accepting or declining the offer? Please do not reply via email; we need a reply on the offer issue.
In the case you accept the offer, you can also add Adam as co-maintainer, but this is not necessary, as project moderators can add co-maintainers/maintainers to any project.
Without a comment posted on that issue in the next 14 days, Adam will be probably made co-maintainer.Project moderators will not remove the existing maintainers/co-maintainers; the project owner will not be replaced either. Maintainers cannot change the project owner; co-maintainers/maintainers can only be removed/added by people who have the permission to administer co-maintainers/maintainers.
As last note: This offer is about being co-maintainer, which for us means somebody who does not have all the drupal.org permissions on the project. Even though being co-maintainers could mean having just a single permission, we expect a co-maintainer to have the following permissions on the project: Write to VCS, Edit project, Maintain issues, Administer releases.
If there is any reason for not giving Adam all those permissions, please explain that on https://www.drupal.org/project/projectownership/issues/3468238 โ .Best regards,
Alberto Paderno

@acbramley Please post a comment when 14 days are passed. - ๐บ๐ธUnited States Kristen Pol Santa Cruz, CA, USA
Oh no ๐ฅ I thought it was 2 weeks since the issue was created. I assumed that the maintainer had already been contactedโฆ
I guess this may not happen in time for Barcelona then. Good to know.

Given this is needed for DC Barcelona and we've had a +1 from another co-maintainer and based on this slack thread it seems unlikely John will respond in time, can we expedite this so I can get this release out for the community?

I asked someone I know last week to ping Rob as he works with him so maybe that will help but not sure. Just need him to commit that D11 issue:)

With the approval of another co-maintainer given, I'm going to make an exception and proceed with this change a few days early.
@acbramley - you are added! Congratulations/Thank you!
