Offering to maintain Extra Field

@rodrigoaguilera I'm fond of this module and about to use it in a project. Have you contacted the existing maintainers via their contact form and did you receive any response?

before committing to anything regarding this module (extra_field)

I didn't receive any sign of activity regarding this module

@rodrigoaguilera Since the issue was not moved by you, I need to ask this: Are you still interested in offering to maintain the Extra Field module?

I had a deeper look at the similar module entity_extra_field ( https://www.drupal.org/project/entity_extra_field → ) and I don't think I will migrate since it is not so straightforward and this module `extra_field` covers my needs.
Also extra_field has more sites using it so I think it is worth it to receive better support and a path forward into Drupal 11.

In summary: Yes, I am still interested.

Both the maintainers logged in at least once in the past three months. I am going to contact them.

In the case you accept the offer, you can also add Rodrigo as maintainer, but this is not necessary, as project moderators can add co-maintainers/maintainers to any project.
Without a comment posted on that issue in the next 14 days, Rodrigo will be probably made maintainer.

Project moderators will not remove the existing maintainers/co-maintainers; the project owner will not be replaced either. Maintainers cannot change the project owner; co-maintainers/maintainers can only be removed/added by people who have the permission to administer co-maintainers/maintainers.

As last note: This offer is about being maintainer, which for us means somebody with all the drupal.org permissions on the project: Write to VCS, Edit project, Administer maintainers, Maintain issues, Administer releases. A person who does not have all those permissions is a co-maintainer.

The module is maintained, I asked Erik a couple of weeks back and he's adding some of his former colleagues as well.

I'm a bit confused by this issue tbh.

My apologies for the stir. The "unsupported" status back in June is what made me offer myself as a maintainer.

Great to read that the module will be maintained in the foreseeable future.

@avpaderno, @rodrigoaguilera, I might have missed some messages, sorry about that. Thanks for stepping forward. For now I have assigned pcambra as maintainer. Of course you can contribute to the issue queue and work with him to maintain the module.
