DrupalKernel::getInstallProfile() should never return NULL. NULL indicates the site is yet to be installed and in this instance we should be using \Drupal\Core\Installer\InstallerKernel::getInstallProfile().
This should be attempted once 🐛 Install profile is disabled for lots of different reasons and core doesn't allow for that Fixed
