Offer to co-maintain Brightcove Video Connect

Received a message via the contact form about this. After seeing the impressive profile of https://www.drupal.org/u/heddn → , I am happy to grant co-maintainship. Looks like no patches committed in 6 months, so safe to say that help is needed.

Brightcove has partnered with Pronovix to maintain this project, so co-maintenance is not required at the moment. Drupal 10 support has been scheduled and should be arriving in the coming weeks.

Is there any more specific timeline then that? We have to make business decisions and having a specific month or quarter where we should expect d10 support is important knowledge.

Our current ETA for D10 support is March 24th.

BTW, there is a green passing issue and manual testing results over in 📌 Automated Drupal 10 compatibility fixes Fixed that might be a good start.

Today is March 25th. Is there a new ETA on a D10 release? I've helped out as much as I can without commit access. There's a patch over in 📌 Automated Drupal 10 compatibility fixes Fixed with manual testing by 2 people. Can we either grant access to me or commit the code please?

Did not wiifm, the project owner, add heddn as co-maintainer?

I got mixed messages and don't want to trick the boat. Someone said, no, we'll handle that. Someone else didn't say anything and gave some access. I'm confused and don't want to step on toes and work inside the system.

Unfortunately we've had a bit of a delay and will need another two weeks or so.

Brightcove is officially supporting this project so I think they would need to approve any additional maintainers.

You're right, the ownership should've been transferred 8+ years ago.

A new 3.2.0 release is available that has the Drupal 10 compatibility.
