Select2 dropdown broken style with gin theme

kay64 → made their first commit to this issue’s fork.

You need to use nesting with var()

Using this patch broke the UI when editing pages. The patch in the related issue works fine.

I can confirm what #12 says, using the patch from merge request 16 broke the editing UI for all node types that had a Select2 widget. (Though weirdly only on our live site and not in our ddev dev environment. I didn't investigate the cause because the patch in the related issue seems to do the job.)

Same for me, in DDEV the problem did not show up. It was only on the Testing environment that the problems started.

This will break support for older versions of the Gin theme.
