The update spinner in the center of the page is kind of a distraction. When you enter or alter a search you always notice something is in motion on the screen for a moment but you need a second until you notice/realize what it was and where it was. depending on the viewport width, viewport height and if the filter component is expanded or not the spinner is displayed somewhere else (it has not dedicated location and even covers content sometimes - see wide_viewport.mp4 & narrow_viewport.mp4). Combined with the fear you miss something important induced by an animated object it is a constant potential source of stress, distraction and confusion.

- go to /admin/modules/browse
- try several searches for a certain term with differing settings in viewport height, viewport width and with collapsed or expanded filter component.
The spinner could be shown either inline in the search field or in the area where the search results are displayed (next to the search count ✨ Improve UI of results count Fixed ).
