I have a view field handler (extending FieldPluginBase) that displays if a specified user has commented on a node by reading and looping through its comments.
If there are no comments and the user adds one, the render cache is correctly cleared and the field updates.
But if I delete the user's comment from an administrator login, I have to manually clear the render cache for the view to update.
(The view is using tag-based caching.)

It's likely this issue predates Contrib.social: some issue and comment data are missing.
This issue is being reviewed by the kind folks in Slack, #needs-review-queue-initiative. We are working to keep the size of Needs Review queue [2700+ issues] to around 400 (1 month or less), following Review a patch or merge request → as a guide.
Did not test.
But this will need a test case to show this issue.
