I was able to reproduce the issue and after applying the patch it worked. It is fine to merge the changes.

As of now, it supports selecting on vocabulary per facet but may be in future we can enhance to support multiple vocabulary.
Facets Taxonomy Multilevel module can be helpful for the given scenario which provides the add-on processors.
