Re-roll last patch had some unnecessary .info.yml changes and didn't apply for what ever reason.
Here's a patch that allows using of configured exports in export csv form.

Fixed empty check in getMappedRoles
Changed getMappedRoles always return array mapped by group_id to prevent crashing when calculating permissions

Pushed some compatibility fixes to the fork but I think there needs to be 2.x branch for the module as the changes are breaking for Groups v1.

In my use case this comes up for node types which doesn't have nodeaccess enabled.
Attached patch which at least circumvents the error message although there might be a better way to fix this.
This seems to be working working better for what ever reason.
If return statement in latest patch causes NS_BINDING_ABORTED breaking referencing of existing entities in versions >2.6.
