Overview

The meeting focused on accessibility improvements for Drupal CMS. Boris introduced himself and discussed his interest in accessibility work. The team reviewed the hotkeys API draft, emphasising the need for a consistent, non-overriding method for defining hotkeys across modules.
They also discussed the proximity navigation issue, particularly the alignment of submenu items in the footer region, and suggested aligning them to the bottom for better usability. The importance of not conflicting with user-defined hotkeys and adhering to WCAG guidelines was highlighted. Action items included finalising the hotkeys API draft and exploring alternative navigation solutions.

Action items
