Has there been an update for a D11 ready release?

Adding one more voice to the comments above. A Drupal 11-compatible release is very much desired!

Weโre using this module in several of our projects, and it would be incredibly helpful to have at least an alpha release to unblock our Drupal 11 migration, even as other issues are being worked on for a stable version.
If you feel the module isnโt ready for an alpha just yet, would you mind creating a โPlanโ issue outlining the remaining work needed for a D11-compatible tagged release? That would give us a clearer sense of where to focus contributions.

I have addressed this in detail many times in this issue queue.
Nothing has changed, because there is still no community involvement. If I release an alpha version, then who has to answer all the support issues and bug reports? Me, because no one else is doing anything. The 2.0.x version of this module has worked on D11 since last summer - almost a year ago. But it's not ready for alpha, because large chunks of the module have completely undefined and untested behavior. The tasks that need to be done have open issues in this queue, and I have been asking for help with these for years. I have personally contributed more than 1000 volunteer hours to this code over the years to port it to D8, D9, D10, D11, to write documentation, to write tests, to write example modules, to integrate it with other modules, and to contribute to core issues when changes to core broke this module. I have made major changes and improvements to all parts of this module, but it was truly an antiquated mess of spaghetti code written in PHP 4 when I started on it, and it is much harder to fix something like that while maintaining backwards compatibility than it would have been to write a new module from scratch. But there has been no show of interest from the community to support me in this effort.
If this code is important to you then I request that you contribute work and/or support development on this project. There are tens of thousands of sites that use this module, and I don't think it's unreasonable to ask other people to contribute to the development. I will gladly work with anyone who wants to contribute, but I have no desire to keep throwing away effort on a project that doesn't seem to be wanted any more.

Thank you again, @tr, for this module's contribution to the Drupal community and to your literally thousands of hours dedicated to maintaining it, equivalent to a substantial amount of wages for a senior developer.
Per ๐ฌ Offer to co-maintain mimemail module Needs review , I am volunteering to co-maintain the module. I have outlined my understanding of your priorities for the module there, which I will assiduously pursue with all practicable expediency.
Thank you for your consideration!
