Notes

  • We discussed the extraction of the fields and tasks components out of the GDPR module and making them separate and stand alone modules that depend upon each other and others can later easily depend upon for other use cases that we haven’t thought about yet. Details in the issues and in the action items below.
  • Documentation: lets collect bullet points in the doc that was shared in the Slack channel so that we can provide at least those, so that the documentation team can probably arrange them and also fill them with content.
    Another part of that collection might be the privacy manifesto, so that the documentation can at least provide some context on why privacy in Drupal matters in the first place.

  • The decision about the Slack channel: make the private one read-only and move the activity over to the public channel so that more people can join our team

Action items

  • Jürgen creates sub-issues to the Advanced Privacy Recipe to specify the scope of each of the modules to be extracted from GDPR
  • Then we create user success sheets for each of them to finalize the specification
  • After that we find some names for each of those modules
  • Finally, the code gets extracted and pushed into the new module
  • Ralf and Richard try to find some time to add bullet points to the documentation
  • Jürgen archives the Slack channel and announces the move and the arrival to and in the public channel
