I am going to contact the project owner, for now. When I can use my computer again, I will contact the other two maintainers.

This is the message I sent.
Hello Bram,
I am contacting you because Andrei ( https://www.drupal.org/u/ivnish โ ) offered to become co-maintainer for Imagick ( https://www.drupal.org/project/imagick โ ), a project for which you are project owner and maintainer.
May you post a comment on https://www.drupal.org/project/projectownership/issues/3475222 ๐ Offer to co-maintain imagick Active about accepting or declining the offer? Please do not reply via email; we need a reply on the offer issue.
Without a comment posted on that issue in the next 14 days, Andrei will be probably made co-maintainer.Project moderators will not remove the existing maintainers/co-maintainers; the project owner will not be replaced either. Maintainers cannot change the project owner; co-maintainers/maintainers can only be removed/added by people who have the permission to administer co-maintainers/maintainers.
I am going to contact all the people who can administer co-maintainers/maintainers for the project in the next hours.
As last note: This offer is about being co-maintainer, which for us means somebody who does not have all the drupal.org permissions on the project. Even though being co-maintainers could mean having just a single permission, we expect a co-maintainer to have the following permissions on the project: Write to VCS, Edit project, Maintain issues, Administer releases.
If there is any reason for not giving Andrei all those permissions, please explain that on https://www.drupal.org/project/projectownership/issues/3475222 ๐ Offer to co-maintain imagick Active .Best regards,
Alberto Paderno

Please post a comment after 14 days, if your offer has not been declined. It will show you are still interested in maintaining this project and it will serve as reminder an action is required for this offer. - ๐ฎ๐นItaly apaderno Brescia, ๐ฎ๐น
I contacted the other two maintainers too.

Hi ivnish,
I just added you as a co-maintainer. All help on the project is welcome!
Kind regards

@bceyssens can you also change permission from Developer to Maintainer in gitlab here https://git.drupalcode.org/project/imagick/-/project_members ?

ivnish,
I updated your role in Git!

@bceyssens:
Just a note, while your D.O permissions do not grant the ability to manage maintainers by granting @ivnish the maintainer role in Gitlab you have effectively given them that permission.
GitLab maintainers can add and remove other maintainers and D.O. will sync back from GitLab.
No action needed if you find that situation acceptable, just wanted to make sure you are aware of the permission system implications. This request in one line turned from โco-maintainerโ to โfull maintainerโ as if it was an insignificant change.

I needed them permissions only for change git default branch from 7.x to 8.x

(bceyssens has the Administer maintainers permission, which allows him to add, or remove, either co-maintainers or maintainers. bceyssens has not by-passed a drupal.org permission, since he has that permission.)

#12 was meant to mean the permissions bceyssens gave ivinish on D.O.
