Create theme graphic for Starshot Demo subtheme to show on appearance admin page

Postponing until we have new components next week.

This one would be good to have before the demo.

I think it should be an Illustration/Logo and no Screenshot.

That could be a fun background maybe? I would like having some sort of components or design system aspect would be good.

sure. we just need to be careful, that it doesn't look to mystic/strange. should be still business "suitable"
if you need some things I can help with, let me know. best would be some aspect ratios and things you need/expect to get :)

Yeah... we could just have something "boring" ish too that evokes the design system / component aspect... haven't had brainspace to thing about this. I'll see if someone feels like taking a stab at this.

Looks great to me as well, Just one question, do we have any concerns on using images of people?

I agree with @guptahemant. Instead of using people's images, we can use avatar images.

Also, combining the Cover 2 and Cover 3 options would look better.

Good point. I was kind of wondering the same. Most of the components for the landing page have people though. That’s part if the new d.o brand guidelines.

The alternative is something more abstract and representative. Given the timeline, I’m happy using one of these for now and having a follow up issue to revisit later.

If regu.pl is up for another approach, that’s great. Otherwise, I’ll plan on adding one of these at the end of the week.

I feel it's fine to use avatars that will also be clear when the user visits the demo user may feel familiar rather than surprised with new elements, else we can do without avatars just showing the theme and design.

All of them looks good, but updated number 3 looks best.
