Starshot is aimed at enhancing the experience of the ambitious site builder. The nonprofit Drupal community contains a lot of ambitious site builders -- in-house nonprofit staff who need to stretch Drupal as far as it can go, but don't necessarily have formal education or training as a developer (and frankly, generally don't have time to learn). Making Drupal best practices more transparent and accessible via this project and its GUIs would be tremendously helpful for the nonprofit sector.
As discussed at the Nonprofit Summit at DrupalCon Portland 2024, the nonprofit community is here and would love to ensure that our voices are heard as decisions are being made about the direction of Starshot, including but not limited to, what default recipes are included.

+1. Nonprofits were key to spreading Drupal 15-20 years ago, but have been increasingly left behind since Drupal 8+.
Maybe it would be helpful to have a group of nonprofit advisors to give feedback on Starshot as it develops? We also have the longstanding Nonprofit Drupal User Group hosted by NTEN (co-led by @Jesss) that I think would be glad to give input.
