Error: Call to a member function getTotalPages() on null

Problem/Motivation

When visiting a page with entity list and there are not enough items to pager to appear, there is an error
"Error: Call to a member function getTotalPages() on null in entity_list_get_pager_infos() (line 112 of modules/contrib/entity_list/entity_list.module)."

I'm on D10.2 & PHP 8.2

Steps to reproduce

  • Create entity list
  • Set the number of items per page to some higher value (higher then nuber of items available)
  • Visit the page with an entity list
