Empty fields no longer removed for view in Drupal 10

In Drupal 9 I could add fields to a view. When none of the rows in the view had data for a field, that field would be removed from the output. This is something as in the node view where you don't see fields that are empty.

After upgrading to Drupal 10 this no longer is the case and you always get the fields you have in the view, even when they are all empty.

The new version is more logically consistent, but it is a major change. In my case someone added all fields in a view expecting to only get the filled in fields in the output, but after the Drupal upgrade the view becomes very wide (and very empty).
