Hardcoded color class for site branding when using RTL

Created on 3 August 2023, about 1 year ago
Updated 15 August 2023, about 1 year ago

Problem/Motivation

The branding colour set in the theme options is not honoured when using RTL

Steps to reproduce

- Install Drupal with a RTL language (Eg. arabic) OR use Language module on a default install and create a RTL node
- Set Olivero as default theme (default)
- In Olivero options, set a branding color different from the default one (Eg. Firehouse)
- Check the branding block

Proposed resolution

The CSS is not using variables when the selector is prepended by [rtl].
Update the value to use a variable or adjust the selector in order to work correctly in the cascade
