My interest is making a Drupal 10 release. I am using the patch provided in 📌 Automated Drupal 10 compatibility fixes Fixed . I would be just as happy not to take over ownership; I feared the project was abandoned.

I recently took over a few abandoned projects in the quest for Drupal 10.

I am on vacation this week. I can make a few pull requests next week.

I was going to contact the project owner, since only the project owner can add new maintainers/co-maintainer, but this issue has been moved back to the project issue queue.

Hi, to my understanding cosolom is the active maintainer as I retried from Drupal stuff. I think cosolom can add co-maintainers to the project.

I want to be a maintainer for Message UI. I am not sure how to proceed with the maintainer (RoySegall) no longer involved with Drupal, and the co-maintainer (cosolom) cannot add maintainers. These are the task I intend to complete. My main interest is in making a stable Drupal 10 release. Below is my plan of task to complete.

Automated Tests:
The automated tests need to be updated to test when a pull request is opened.

Active Pull Request:

After completing this pull request, the automated test need to be update to Drupal 10, and php 8.1

This was set as RTBC, but the patch was already committed to 8.x-1.x.

I reviewed this one, and hope the submitter re-submits with correction. I'll make the correction, and a pull request next week, if the submitter does not.

I am having trouble reproducing this issue, but others have been able to reproduce it. It seems critical.

Since the project owner commented in this issue without declining the offer, and since he did not reply to the comment I posted to inform him he is the only one who can add maintainers/co-maintainers, I added bluegeek9 as maintainer (user with all the permissions on the project).

Automatically closed - issue fixed for 2 weeks with no activity.
