I am interested to see this module maintained. But I am not interested in being a co-maintainer, sorry. I have already too many modules to maintain.

As we got no reply yet from @geek-merlin for now, I'd like to offer my help and jump in as Maintainer to make this module at least D10 compatible and merge RTBC'd issues.

I hope @geek-merlin is also still interested, would be nice not having to maintain this module alone.

@gisle is it okay if I move the module over or do I need to create a separate issue for that?

I am afraid you need to start from scratch, and create a separate issue. Please see How to become project owner, maintainer, or co-maintainer → , which is the canonical text on this. It states clearly:

The site moderators will only consider the offer from one person per issue. Please do not use an issue created by another user, even if that issue has not been completed for some reason; instead, open your own issue.

I am sorry about the red tape, but overriding a project owner's right to manage their project team is a very sensitive matter, and we've found it prudent not to cut corners in these matters.

Reads like you will need to FORK it, and this will be automatically OBSOLETE in about a month.

webenbr suggests you fork it, instead of waiting for the process to complete.

I advice against doing so. Forking is disruptive. The process works. It just takes time.
