Per @mkindred above, the problem is reproducible even if the module is not enabled (anymore). Sounds like a symptom of invalid configuration. Maybe related to 🐛 Invalid config structures can result in exceptions when saving a config entity Needs work ?

I just enabled the module and WSOD
The error is the one outlined in the issue queue.

Have opened https://www.drupal.org/project/social/issues/3364464 → to tackle that (there will be more coming)
