Allow exposed form to preserve URL query parameters

#10 works for me alongside the parent issue #2681953#36.

Patch from #10 is working well for me (along with the parent patch from #2681953, we have a search implementation that has custom query parameters that were being lost on exposed form search.

Applies to D10.2.5 and BEF 6.0.3.
And works fine with Better Exposed Filters ( Exposed form in block:No)

It does not work with: Better Exposed Filters (with layout) from the https://www.drupal.org/project/vefl → module. Issues created for this https://www.drupal.org/project/vefl/issues/3438896 ✨ Vefl Allow exposed form to preserve URL query parameters Active

Seems this is dependent on the parent issue landing

Had to reroll it for BEF 6.0.6 so attaching patch here.

This patch causes AJAX error when accessing BEF settings in view.
