Looking at this issue briefly, @lauriii describes it as, "elements remain focusable and in the tabbing order". WAVE is a great tool, but only catches about 1/3rd of the accessibility issues. All automated tools are pretty bad at catching keyboard interactions.
@komalk & @priyanka.sahni can you give some more context here? What are you demonstrating with the WAVE tests?
