There are no steps to reproduce the problem here. I found that the code in the patch was removed in Drupal Core - Multiple Vulnerabilities - SA-CORE-2018-006 → . Therefor, I am closing this as outdated.
Hi,
i use drupal 8 for a multilanguage project and i have a problem with destination redirects.
Language detection is set to url and all destination are absolute now.
But drupal core not allow absolute destination links.
Have any one a solution for me?

The patch will have to be re-rolled with new suggestions/changes described in the comments in the issue.
The change is currently missing an automated test that fails when run with the original code, and succeeds when the bug has been fixed.
