I have updated the patch for the latest version. Make sure after applying the patch, reinstall the module for this feature to work.
As by default terms have the description field, would be useful to be able to import this field as well.
So incoming data would look like:
animals|animals descriptiom
-canine
--dog|describe a dog
--wolf
-feline
--cat|describe a cat
