When a revision exists in a node and the user clicks on its link from the revisions tab, the contextual links on the revision of the node are empty (once #2362435: When viewing a revision, the Quick Edit, Edit, and Delete contextual link operations are available, but should not be → is fixed otherwise shows quick edit, edit and delete links).
The contextual links int that case should be:

Makes Drupal easier to use. Preferred over UX, D7UX, etc.
The change is currently missing an automated test that fails when run with the original code, and succeeds when the bug has been fixed.

The change alters the user interface, so before and after screenshots should be added to document the UI change. Make sure to capture the relevant region only. Use a tool such as Aviary on Windows or Skitch on Mac OS X.
