i have the same problem after upgrade Drupal to drupal 10 and group from 1.6 to group 2.
drupal_developer2022 → created an issue.

After upgrade core drupal to drupal 10.0.6 i have this in my report/status

The Entity field needs to be updated.this patch dont work for me. I have the version 1.4

In my preparation for migration to Drupal 10, I encountered this error when migrating the group module from version 1.4 to 2.2.1.
I found this error after running this drush updatedb command
