Drupal 10 Compatibility with openid_connect 8.x-1.x Version

Please update to 2.0.0-beta6. I don't want to maintain two branches for D10. Thank you!

I understand where you're coming from, but considering the current state of the main openid_connect project, ditching 1.x seems a little premature...

openid_connect 2.x (currently "beta") has no Drupal 10 release either, so you're effectively requiring people to upgrade to the alpha-quality 3.x branch to use this module.

I was just about to attach the same patch against 1.4 as #7 but was beaten to it. Works fine from my (limited) testing with just the change to the info.yml file.

Hello @grahamC, thanks you for your feedback. I am following the development of openid_connect quite closely. Version 3.x is exactly the same as 2.x only without the deprecated code and D8 (!) compatibility.

The alpha state of 3.x is not justified imo. I think we should maintain less versions, but keep them stable and reliable.
