Right after posting this I found a potential solution - using Content Export CSV module to export data which provides the CSV file template I was looking for. You just have to make sure you have entered some content already and then you can see what it should look like.
The feature I described above might still be helpful though.

Nevermind, I think I figured this out just minutes after posting this. I just needed to put _paq.push(['trackVisibleContentImpressions']);
in the Code snippet (after) section under advanced.

Just a general follow-up here, I think the problem is that I am using WSL. I don't understand because I can't really see the files. I've given up on Docker and am just going to install and test on a subdomain on the server. FYI for anyone else that stumbles upon this.

Thank you both. I understand a person can use rsync or git to upload files and that ftp is outdated and slow. I just don't understand Docker and containers, in my mind it is like a tar or zip file but I don't know how to get the files out of the container and upload to the server.  I feel like its something obvious that everyone knows but I am just not seeing it!
