I am importing taxonomy, users and content, I figured out taxonomy easily and am now working on importing users and content. I am looking at the examples online but it would be super helpful if the module could show me what it would like the csv file to look like, what fields are expected. I have a few different content types with various taxonomies and some date fields, etc. so there will be different fields for the different content.
The import csv configuration page would have a link to show a template csv file for each entity type based on the fields that each has. Maybe this link would just be a sub page with the template within a text box or perhaps it would export a csv template to download.
This would be super helpful, I'm not sure how difficult it would be to implement, but figured I would suggest it anyways.

Right after posting this I found a potential solution - using
Content Export CSV module →
to export data which provides the CSV file template I was looking for. You just have to make sure you have entered some content already and then you can see what it should look like.
The feature I described above might still be helpful though.
