Stable Version for Drupal 11

Created on 17 June 2025, about 1 month ago

Problem/Motivation

Is there a roadmap for a stable Drupal 11 version, now that core 11.2 will be dropping soon?

And, thanks for all your hard work on the module. Please let me know if there's any testing or other tasks that can be done to help speed the process.

Curious about this as well since only stable releases are covered by the security advisory policy. Some site owners are delaying their Drupal 11 upgrade until a stable, compatible version is released.

I replaced "dropping" with "released" in the issue summary. I understand why in the music industry "drop" means "release"; you drop a needle on a record to play it. But in computing, "drop" means delete, as in SQL DROP TABLE. There is great potential for ambiguity. What does this mean? "NASA drops plans for Mars mission." Are they releasing the plans or cancelling the mission?

I think this will happen soon. It would help if tests were passing. They used to pass but changes to testing have made them not pass.

Getting tests to pass will require fixing πŸ“Œ Make @dataProvider methods static Active .
