Annual Check Ins with Topic & Subsystem Maintainers

Problem/Motivation

Each year, the Core Committer Team checks in with subsystem and topic maintainers to confirm whether they wish to continue in their role.

This ensures MAINTAINERS.txt remains up to date and active roles are clearly represented.

The 2025 review is due.

Steps to reproduce

  • Review current entries in MAINTAINERS.txt.
  • Identify users with active listings.
  • Confirm ongoing interest and activity with each maintainer.
  • Update MAINTAINERS.txt as needed based on responses or lack thereof.
