Thanks for the effort. There is a fix already for this issue, noted in the issue description:

Fix for 3.x is here: https://git.drupalcode.org/issue/flysystem-3494101/-/commit/516876e78777... - please land via #3494101: Establish automated test coverage for Flysystem if possible, but if not I'm happy to open a separate MR here :)

This issue was opened for discoverability and to provide opportunity for maintainer input, but it's not necessary to provide a MR as there's already a fix in the noted open issue/MR.

Maintainer - the MR appears to be identical to the commit in the related MR. If this is merged separately, I expect the related MR to rebase fine. That would be OK, but I'd prefer to not have to do that if we can avoid it :)
