I added a workaround for disabling Klaro! for CKE here: https://www.drupal.org/docs/extending-drupal/contributed-modules/contrib... →
I've just noticed one detail when inserting a remote media items via the insert media button in ckeditor 5. The consent dialog is completely inaccessible via mouse or the keyboard even though the markup is in place (see ckeditor.mp4)
*The empty white rectangle after a media item is added happens also without klaro being installed.
I've raised the topic in the #privacy-and-complicance channel, the suggestion by @jurgenhaas as a short term solution might be instead of displaying the consent and leaving the editor the opportunity to interact with the remote media embeds, to use the already existing thumbnails instead. That way there would be no worries about privacy compliance nor any struggle to get the consent dialogs working for remote media embeds in a ckeditor field?
