In my testing the carousel image scales with the viewport. Are you referring to something else when you say responsive?
The default is to hide the description at the medium breakpoint and below. You need to change your settings for the carousel. Specifically the "hide captions" settings. And make sure "Add captions to your slides for add title and description over the image" is checked.

The images are not resized to fit to screen, they are cut off and you do not see the full image anymore.
I do not know how it is named, the โslider indicatorโ is not moved below the image. Past D7 versions have done so.

Did you file this issue against the wrong version of the module? 5.5.x is for the Bootstrap 5 module compatible with Drupal 11.
- ๐ฉ๐ชGermany marc.bau
Nope - I'm developing the new D10 site with Views Bootstrap 5.5.x. I compare D7 against D10. I need to migrate the site from D7 to D10 and upgrade bootstrap from 3.x to 5.x and I find issues... this is one I found. The image in in the carousel is simply not resized.

This module implements the bootstrap 5 built-in carousel, which looks like this https://getbootstrap.com/docs/5.3/components/carousel/#indicators
The styling of the indicators is different. As for the image sizing problem can you show us what result you're getting?

Which Bootstrap theme are you using? Is there a setting in the theme for making the images responsive?

I use this one https://www.drupal.org/project/bootstrap โ

The actual issue of ticket "breakpoint not working" is not appearing for me.
I am using -
1. Drupal 10.4
2. BootstrapThe possible issue may be due to custom templating or due to other JS broken issues.
Please provide more details if you are still facing issue. - ๐ฉ๐ชGermany marc.bau
I cannot see how this defect may have been solved by itself. Maybe you are not reviewing the issue properly ans missed that automatic image resizing simply does not work. Try a largee image e.g. 1400 px width
