Problem/Motivation 1

A short, non-technical description has been created by the community for your module for compatibility with Project Browser. The short description will be displayed on the cards in the Project Browser grid and list views.
Requirements: The short description (200 characters or less) should answer the question - "what does this module do in a non-technical way". Do not use the module name in the short description.

Proposed resolution

Provides a generic service for logging in, registering authenticated users against an external site or service, and storing the authentication details.

    Regarding the categories:

    The "Developer tools" category was already selected, together with "Access control" and "Integrations".
    Is the recommendation to remove the latter two? Or keep it as it is?

    @svendecabooter It's fine to update the suggested short description as long as you followed the convention of 200 characters or less and non-technical. Also that you didn't use the project name in this summary - for example - we don't recommend "The External Authentication module ..."

    For the categories we did not recommend those two additional categories, however if you feel they should be used for your module then it's fine to leave them.

    This can be marked as RTBC if it adheres to those recommendations. Thanks for checking.
