Problem/Motivation

The "Real-time SEO for Drupal" module (often named "Yoast SEO" thanks to his machine name) does not support Layout Builder (See ✨ Support Layout Builder only pages & inline blocks Active ).

Steps to reproduce

Create a content type with Layout Builder sections, and analyze it with the module.

Proposed resolution

Replace this module by " Yoast Analysis β†’ " module, which instead use a view mode (with all that is rendered inside) to perform the analysis. The UX will be a bit different (with a dedicated tab for the analysis), but at least the result will be much more adequate and in line to what the users will expect from a feature point of view.

The yoast_analysis module does not seem to be actively developed as support requests go unanswered and feature requests like integrating with meta tags sit in the issue queue. There isn't a Drupal 11 release and there are only 196 sites report using this module. It is only Minimally maintained.

The yoast_seo module is far from perfect, but the maintainer was very responsive to creating a Drupal 11 release we could use. It reports 20,239 sites using this module and ranks in the top ten modules in the SEO category on Drupal.org.

In addition, none of the content types that are currently in Drupal CMS use Layout Builder.

Instead of replacing, could we encourage the maintainers of the two modules to work together to create a single solution that would fit the needs for most Drupal sites?
