Offering to co-maintain Block Library

This is the message I sent to mahmoud-zayed.

Hello Mahmoud,

I am contacting you because Rajab ( https://www.drupal.org/u/rajab-natshah → ) offered to become co-maintainer for Block Library ( https://www.drupal.org/project/block_library → ), a project you created for which you are project owner and sole maintainer.

May you post a comment on https://www.drupal.org/project/projectownership/issues/3467583 📌 Offering to Support and Maintain the Block Library module Needs review about accepting or declining the offer? Please do not reply via email; we need a reply on the offer issue.
In the case you accept the offer, you can also add Rajab as co-maintainer, but this is not necessary, as project moderators can add co-maintainers/maintainers to any project.
Without a comment posted on that issue in the next 14 days, Rajab will be probably made co-maintainer.

Project moderators will not remove the existing maintainers/co-maintainers; the project owner will not be replaced either. Maintainers cannot change the project owner; co-maintainers/maintainers can only be removed/added by people who have the permission to administer co-maintainers/maintainers.

As last note: This offer is about being co-maintainer, which for us means somebody who does not have all the drupal.org permissions on the project. Even though being co-maintainers could mean having just a single permission, we expect a co-maintainer to have the following permissions on the project: Write to VCS, Edit project, Maintain issues, Administer releases.
If there is any reason for not giving Rajab all those permissions, please explain that on https://www.drupal.org/project/projectownership/issues/3467583 📌 Offering to Support and Maintain the Block Library module Needs review .

The status has been changed because we are waiting for a reply.
Please post a comment after 14 days are passed, if mahmoud-zayed did not reject the offer. It will serve also as confirmation you are still interested to co-maintain that project.

Noticed that he has been busy with other things recently.

Waiting for 14 days.

Interested to co-maintain the Block Library → module.

I added rajab natshah as co-maintainer.

I apologize: Since the project is covered by the security advisory policy, only the project maintainers can add as maintainer/co-maintainer somebody who is not able to opt projects into security advisory coverage.

As project moderator, I could contact the project maintainers, but I cannot add maintainers/co-maintainers in this case.

I am hoping to be able to opt into security advisory coverage. ( soon )

For now, Maybe Razem → , or Aaron → could be interested in stepping in to maintain the module as he has a pass with an opt-into security advisory.
