[2.0.0-beta2] Layout builder appearing broken

Problem/Motivation

Not sure a theme issue but when using a layout component and adding a block the layout appears super broken

Steps to reproduce

Using ui_suite_uswds

1. Add "Alert" component
2. Click "Add block" for one of the slot section
3. See broken layout
