What version of Drupal core and PHP is your site using?

Note: it seems as though the error is related to the use of the first-class callable syntax that was introduced in PHP 8.1. It's worth adding that the commit which introduced this change also updated the minimum PHP version for Smart Date to 8.1.

Smart Date has a declared requirement for PHP 8.1 or newer in the 4.1 release. I'm assuming you installed it manually?
