  • Alphons Jaimon → presented a session on "Launch a Chatbot with your organization data in mins - Alphons Jaimon"
    • They used Ollama and Flowise to demo how one can set up a chatbot entirely through drag and drop tools without using code
  • We had a follow up on our last meetup's BoFs on AI tools for Personal Productivity where:
    • We also talked about use of AI Tools for enhancing DXPs.
    • People shared their experience on using AI Tools for Personal productivity in tasks like coding, building design systems, converting wireframes and designs to makrup and css code
      • A few people mentioned how they were able to reduce the time taken for tasks by upto 30%.
  • There was a BoF about Drupal Starshot. Some of the highlights from the BoF were:
    • We discussed why Drupal Starshot is needed.
    • We discussed Dries's acknowledgement about some of Drupal's shortcomings during the recent Driesnote, mainly hard-to-use interface and lack of marketing
    • Dipen Chaudhary → gave us their input from an agency owner's perspective on this. They mentioned that they have been using Drupal for 10 years and have seen a decline in the number of projects they get. They mentioned that while Drupal is very strong when in comes to technical capabilities, it lacks the marketing needed to improve the user sentiment.
    • We had a discussion around Dries's proposal for "Launching Drupal from browser" and it would work.
  • We had a meeting to discuss updates and future plans/tasks for DrupalCamp Pune 2024. Following are the notes from the meeting.

Sponsorship team Milestones

  • 2nd June: Reach out to past sponsor and get their feedbacks - Dipak.
  • 10th June: Prepare sponsorship Deck - Dipak with help of Design team
  • 18th June: Send sponsor proposal with sponsorship Deck to potential sponsors - Dipak

Marketing team milestones

  • 2nd June: Set up Drupalpune insta account - Nikita Aswani
  • 2nd June: Set up buffer - Nikita Aswani with Rahul's help
  • 2nd June: Prioritize list of marketing assets needed and communicate to Design team - Nikita

Design team milestones

  • 2nd June: Onboard design volunteers and start work - Nikita Aswani
  • 10th June: Deliver 1st set of assets to Marketing team - Vighnesh
  • 18th June: Deliver 2nd set of assets to Marketing team - Vighnesh

Websites team milestones

  • 2nd June: Prep the static homepage from last year's design - Sushil with Piyuesh & Ajit's help to get the lat year homepage and Dipak's help to set up cloudflare page
  • 10th June: Present a plan for Infra and site architecture setup to the team - Sushil
  • 25th June: Website to be up for call for papers - Sushil

  • 29th May: Present the budget to the team
