Even after applying the patch, we are not able to add a new field in any of the existing content type. When we try to add a new field, its throwing error as "AssertionError: "Geolocation" must be defined in MODULE_NAME.field_type_categories.yml in assert() (line 186 of /app/web/core/lib/Drupal/Core/Field/FieldTypePluginManager.php)."

I am experiencing the same issue as #13 and #14. It is because the Spatial fields category was added, but there is another category called Geolocation that is not being included in the geolocation.field_type_categories.yml file. Based on patch #2, I have created an updated patch to include that category as well.
I tested it on version 3.13 with Drupal 10.3.5, and it works correctly for me.

Please create a new issue and reference back to this issue. Uploading a patch to a closed (fixed) issue will not get anything fixed.
Also setting to the correct version as this was fixed in 4.x
