Remove branch "master" and set "3.0.x" as the default branch

Problem/Motivation

Having a main / master branch in Drupal modules is untypical and against best practices. It should be removed. Instead the braches should represent the major (+optional minor) versions.

Of course it's a maintainers decision.

Might not be possible, as the master branch might be connected to a dev release. BUT 3.0.x-dev should at least be set as the default branch. As any MR created will target the default branch by default, no matter what branch is set to the Drupal issue.

I don't have option to do this until next major branch (4.0.x-dev).
