Offering to Co-maintain Legal

Thanks for the offer to help maintain Legal module, and thanks for the patches, appreciated!

I'm going to decline because I have a plan for this module which will require me to restrict maintenance access to really make it work.

I usually do a big clean out of issues once a year as it's easier to work on them in one go, and it looks like I'm going to have some time in May, so I'm looking forward to getting anything RTBC into the next release and a Drupal 11 release ready.

It's affecting all existing installation and their users.

@Robert Castelo I don't want to sound unfriendly, but there are several Major issues in the issue queue and other issues are RTBC'd.

Do you have more precise plans for May? We're for example running into trouble with these issues:

And it looks like there are several other users affected.
So you're the maintainer and you decide, but I think this has some priority and it would be bad if this module needs to be forked to push things forward. As written above, I very much appreciate your work and this module since Drupal 7. Please let's move things forward here for more stability. My offer still stands. At least it would be good to know our time is well invested in these issues and they'll be merged soon.

PS: There are issues that have been RTBC'd for 2.5 years... So I don't really understand why you're blocking help and progress. Sorry.

Sorry for the noise, but is there a possibility to get 🐛 Reset notice is showing up twice (from core and legal module) and don't disappear after password change RTBC merged, so we can continue working on 🐛 Password can not be reset, when user hasn't accepted the legal terms yet Needs work and get that merged as well?

The postponed follow-up issue is quite major and should be fixed ASAP, as it affects Drupal core functionality!!

Hi @anybody and @grevil I've almost finished the Open Source contribution I have to get over the line this week (https://www.drupalcamp.ai) and will be free from Friday to start doing a clear out of Legal issues.
